Career Development Fellowships in the National Technology Centre Programme

The Marie Skodowska-Curie Career-FIT scheme offers an opportunity for experienced researchers to develop their careers in market-focused, applied research in Ireland's Technology Centres, with an enterprise secondment (of 6-12 months in an Enterprise Ireland client company) during the Fellowship (of 36 months).
In advance of the 2018 call launch, which is expected for October 2017, the relevant National Contact Point is visiting UCC to deliver a workshop and meet with potential applicants.
2017 CRACK IT Challenges

CRACK IT Challenges is a research competition to solve scientific and business problems identified by the bioscience sector. The Challenges are designed to reduce the reliance on animal models and/or improve animal welfare and lead to the development of marketable products.
The CRACK IT Two Phase Challenges competition is run using the SBRI process which is supported by Innovate UK and Challenges are sponsored by companies who provide in-kind contributions such as data, validation and expertise.
