The SOAR Project Travellers in Education assembly -  Supporting Travellers in 2nd Level Education: Progress through Partnership sees key stakeholders working together to explore how best to support Travellers in second level education in Cork and Kerry.

UCC is a proud partner and project lead of the South Cluster SOAR Project. Funded under the  Programme for  Access to Higher Education (PATH) strand III, the SOAR Project is an inter-institutional collaboration on Access. It brings together the South Cluster – University College Cork, Cork Institute of Technology, Institute of Technology Carlow, Institute of Technology Tralee and Waterford Institute of Technology together with community partners to collaborate on devising and delivering strategies to increase access to higher education for under-represented groups.
