Quercus 2022/23 Awards Night Dinner

Quercus Scholars 2022/23 with UCC President, Prof. John O'Halloran and representatives of Bank of Ireland, Ian McMorrough & Maria McKnight

Congratulations to the Quercus Talented Students' Programme Scholars for 2022/23, celebrated at their awards night on Monday 6th March.

The scholars were presented with their acorn pins, the symbol of the Quercus Programme, by UCC President, Prof. John O'Halloran, on the night

Attendees were treated to a concert with music from Creative & Performing Arts scholars, Ruby Falvey, Sean Burns Desmond, Donnchadh Hughes, Iona Ritchie and Sophie Ryan, and Quercus Academic Scholar, Siobhán Cronin. There was also poetry by Quercus Creative & Performing Arts' Scholars, Rere Ukponu and Otto Goodwin, and Michael Holden & Sarah Stafford also acted out a brief scene from a play written by Michael. 

The warmest of welcomes to the Quercus Scholars of 2022/23. Best of luck with all your endeavours. Also, a hearty thank you to our kind sponsors Bank of Ireland, who were represented on the night by Ian McMorrough, Maria McKnight & Eamonn Corcoran.

Lauren Cripps, Laura Hayes, Sean Nathaniel Edogbo, Gerard Millerick, Danny Sheahan, Daniel Squires, and Andrew Sheehan who was unable to attend on the night because he was at a Rowing Ireland training camp.

Also in attendance on the night were many of the outgoing Quercus Scholars. A great night was had by all, with lovely memories made!
