Phase Two of the new UCC Curriculum Management System
Following on from the successful implementation of CIM Modules, the University has now embarked on Phase Two of the new UCC Curriculum Management System.
Phase Two will involve implementation of CIM Programmes, which will impact colleagues across the University involved in proposal and approval of new programmes as well as changes to the existing curriculum. CIM Programmes will streamline and automate current manual processes, and will lead to the publication of an enhanced University Calendar. It will also capture a trusted master curriculum dataset for the University and will lead to the removal of paper-based processes for curriculum approval and reducing rework and defects. This will provide a significant uplift for programme directors and professional services staff and will increase the evenness of the student experience. Stakeholder groups across the University will be involved in a consultation process with Leepfrog, our curriculum management vendor from October 24th to 28th to gather requirements for CIM programmes and the published catalogue.
