The Centre for CPD is delighted to be supporting UCC’s Canvas Catalog as we transition into a third academic cycle of learners.  Canvas Catalog was implemented and launched during 2020, in response to a requirement for fully online delivery of non-accredited short courses.

Since implementation, the Centre for CPD has been working with colleagues across the UCC to pivot and update the administrative processes to support CPD and other short courses through this platform, which is a one-stop-shop for learners from browsing, through to payment, enrolment, course participation and certification.

The platform has been a significant enabler for the university, facilitating enrolment of over 4500 non-registered learners, across 220 courses, spanning over 15 disciplines.

UCC is now a European reference site for the platform - in July 2022, UCC IT presented our journey with Canvas Catalog to other Instructure customers across Europe and are also participating and presenting at InstructureCon in September 2022.

Facing into a new academic year, the Centre for CPD team is looking forward to enhancing our use of the platform with UCC staff and industry partners, as well as continuing to provide an intuitive, best-in-class student experience for all of our non-registered learners.
