CPD Modules (Campus-Based MSc in Occupational Health)
As part of UCC's commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD), these modules are available for external individuals to attend as independent units. Modules available in the Masters course in Occupational Health are now offered as CPD modules.
These modules are aimed at the following target groups:
Candidates who satisfy the programme eligibility criteria may, subject to the approval of the Programme Director/Coordinator, be permitted to take the individual modules referred below and be provided with a relevant transcript of marks.
The modules available to be taken under these conditions are (to a maximum of 20 credits in total):
- EH6017 Principles,Theory & Practical Application of Risk Assessment (Semester 2, 2017/2018)
- EH6041 Psychology Applied to Occupational Health and Safety (Semester 1, 2018/2019)
A student who successfully completes and passes a module under CPD will be eligible for exemptions if they subsequently undertake the MSc in Occupational Health within five years from the date of successful completion of the module (and subject to the module being offered on the MSc in Occupational Health).
These modules will be available biennially. CPD module fees vary and are determined on an annual basis. Please check the prospectus for full details. Candidates should contact the School of Public Health with queries in relation to these modules.
All applicants are required to apply directly to the Graduate Studies office in UCC.
