Irish Ambassador to China H.E. Mr Eoin O'Leary Visits UCC

We were delighted to welcome Ireland's Ambassador to China, H.E. Mr Eoin O'Leary, back to his native Cork, and to UCC in particular, in early 2020.
Mr O'Leary was appointed Ambassador of Ireland to the People's Republic of China in September 2017. Ambassador O'Leary was joined by Consul General, and UCC graduate, Therese Healy. Ms Healy commenced as Ireland's CG in Shanghai in September 2015.
Ireland has a dynamic relationship with provinces in East China across business, education and cultural areas. Promoting these connections and deepening links between Ireland and China helps further foster warm and close relations and encourages the two way flow of students between Ireland and China.
