Community events
5 May 2019
All over Cork on 5th May community events took place to encourage neighbours to engage with each other. I was delighted to be invited to by local residents to participate in Connaught Avenue's interaction.
Engaging with the community is an important aspect of UCC and falls under goal 3 of the University Strategic Plan. I strive to encourage a smooth relationship with our residents and was very happy to spend a Sunday afternoon celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Connaught Avenue Residents Association at a street feast that they organised for the occasion.
