UCC to Host International NUSOD Conference on Optoelectronic Device Simulation
Academics at the School of Physics and Tyndall National Institute are co-organising and hosting the International Conference on Numerical Simulation of Optoelectronic Devices (NUSOD) at University College Cork from 20–24 July, 2026
The conference is being co-organised by Dr. Christopher Broderick and Dr. Stefan Schulz, and brings together international researchers working on the modelling and numerical simulation of optoelectronic devices. NUSOD is a well-established conference series, running since 2000, that provides a forum to present advances in theory, simulation methods, and applications relevant to modern photonic and electronic technologies.
The call for papers is now open, and researchers from academia and industry are encouraged to submit their work. Further details, including submission deadlines and conference information, can be found on the conference website: https://www.nusod.net
Hosting NUSOD at UCC highlights the School’s strong research activities in photonics and materials theory, which proceed in close collaboration with Tyndall National Institute, as part of UCC’s Futures Quantum & Photonics strategic research thrust. We look forward to this excellent opportunity to engage with the international research community, and to welcoming our colleagues to Cork!
