UCC Research and Innovation Awards

Congratulations to Physics/Tyndall researchers Brian Corbett who won 'Supervisor of the Year' (a student-led nomination) and 'Sanathana Konugolu' who won 'Early Stage Researcher of the Year' at the recent UCC Research and Innovation Awards ceremony for 2024 that was held on 29 May.
This recognition is a testament to the incredible work of the Biophotonics groups at Tyndall and other disciplines across the University.
Sanathana Konugolu states "I'm deeply appreciative of the support and collaboration from my colleagues, mentors, and the UCC research community — this achievement reflects a collective effort, and I’m excited to continue contributing to meaningful research and innovation."
