Prof. Paul Callanan visits European Southern Observatory in Chile

In early June 2026, Professor Paul Callanan, Head of the School of Physics at University College Cork, visited the Atacama Large Millimeter Array (ALMA) and facilities of the European Southern Observatory (ESA) in Chile. The visit highlights UCC’s ongoing engagement with world-leading astronomical observatories and international research collaborations in astrophysics.
