Future Me Outreach Event "Seeing the Invisible"
On the morning of Tuesday, May 12th, approximately 100 students and teachers from local DEIS schools participated in Seeing the Invisible, an outreach event organised by UCC Physics staff Rob Sheehan, John Cuffe, and Chris Broderick in coordination with Access UCC.
Delivered across three sessions, the event combined an introductory talk on the physics of waves and sound with hands-on experiments where students generated and visualised sound waves using oscilloscopes. The activity gave participants an engaging opportunity to explore the science behind sound through interactive learning.
