In the interest of the health and safety of all conference delegates, we must regretfully inform you that the in person Psychology Health and Medicine Conference in UCC on May 22nd 2020 is being cancelled.
The conference will now be held online on June 19th 2020. Details of the online schedule of events will follow shortly as we explore the best options to deliver an enjoyable and engaging online conference! There will now also be an extended deadline of April 24th for abstract submissions and all accepted abstracts will be presented virtually.
Registration fees will be greatly reduced and we will announce the reduced rate shortly. If you have already registered you will receive a refund for the amount already paid.
We appreciate that this is a change of format and date but we trust that the Health Psychology community in Ireland, and internationally, recognise the need for us to come together at this time to identify useful approaches to the challenges we currently face. We look forward to virtually engaging with you this year and keep those abstracts coming in!
This year the conference will be held online on a dedicated conference website. All registered delegates will receive details of the website address and a password to access the conference on June 19th.
The conference website will only be live on June 19th, though presentations and keynote talks will be available until 9pm that evening to facilitate those who cannot join for the full day. Keynotes, oral presentations, and poster presentations will all be available at their scheduled times throughout the day, in addition to live discussion boards to foster and maintain the engagement and sense of community that is central to the Psychology Health and Medicine Conference!
