UCC placed in top 50 for Pharmacy & Pharmacology in QS World University Rankings by Subject 2015

The School of Pharmacy is absolutely delighted to be ranked in the top 50 of the  QS World Rankings by Subject which were announced this morning.  

The School was set up in 2003 and took in the first cohort of pharmacy students in the same year.  In the past 12 years, the staff have dedicated themselves to delivering high quality research led teaching while pursuing innovative research both nationally and internationally with industrial and healthcare partners.  The School is embarking upon a new integrated Masters in Pharmacy, commencing in September 2015 and is delighted that the recognition given to the School today strengthens the position of the Pharmacy profession.

Professor Stephen Byrne, Head of School of Pharmacy and Chair in Clinical Pharmacy Practice at UCC, comments:
