School of Pharmacy Annual Prize Giving Ceremony 2014
The annual Pharmacy Prize-giving for the 2014 graduating class took place in the School of Pharmacy 31st October 2014 before the University conferrings. Professor Stephen Byrne, Head of School welcomed, parents, graduates, staff and the sponsors of these annual prizes. The representatives of organisations who had donated prizes were thanked for their their continuing generosity which is very much appreciated by the School
The prizes presented were:
- The Cloyne Pharmacy Prize for the Most Improved Student over the BPharm was presented to Aimee O'Sullivan by Prof. Byrne on behalf of Mr Dermot Twomey.
- Activis Prize for overall excellence in Pharmaceutics was presented to Jacinta Walsh by Mr John McHale, Key Account Executive, Actavis Ireland.
- School of Pharmacy Medal for top student in the BPharm degree was presented to Elaine Enright by Professor Stephen Byrne.
