PIER Careers evening held 5th November 2014

The School of Pharmacy hosted a PIER (Pharmacists in Industry, Education & Regulatory) Careers evening for the Pharmacy student at UCC on 5th November 2014. 

An expert panel of Pharmacists from AbbVie, BioInnovate, Eli Lilly, Gilead, HPRA, J&J Ethicon and Solvotrin presented on career opportunities for pharmacists in industry. The expert panel shared insights into how the panel made their career choices, outlined their day to day job, and gave career planning advice.  A networking session with the panel and other industry based pharmacists was held afterwards.
