Daithí Power has a degree in Electrical Engineering form University College Cork. He has worked for over 10 years with PEI Technologies as a research engineer. His design expertise covers microprocessor systems and fluorescent lighting. He has designed a digital signal processing board; a high-frequency ballast unit for emergency exit signs and high-frequency ballast for commercial lighting. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. on a part-time basis.
