BiographyBackgroundAoife, hails from Midleton in East Cork, and attended St.Mary’s High School, 2000-2006. She then went on to study chemistry in UCC, graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry with Forensic Science in September 2010. Research She joined the Organic and Pharmaceutical Synthesis research team in September 2010, beginning her PhD studies under the supervision of Prof. Anita Maguire. Her research involves enantioselective copper catalysis in the intramolecular Buchner reaction. Current Position She is currently working on the above PhD |
