Road safety Authority for black ice driving
Road Safety Alert – Icy Roads & Black Ice Forecast
The Road Safety Authority (RSA) is advising all road users , to take extra care when using the roads particularly at night and in the early hours of the morning, as frosty and icy conditions are being forecast by Met Eireann from tonight and through the weekend. Temperatures may drop below zero at night resulting in icy surfaces particularly black ice.
With roads conditions expected to be hazardous , motorists are being advised to slow down and take extra care as the conditions will pose an added danger.
