The School of Nursing and Midwifery Doctorate of Nursing Programme welcomed three students (Steve Collier, Christine Mahoney, Ann Dent O'Neil) from the USA to partake in their week long leadership module (NU7016 Leadership and Collaboration). Students debated and discussed the differences between the US and Irish health care systems and associated approaches to leadership.
The students were accompanied by Prof Joyce Fitzpatrick (the Elizabeth Brooks Ford Professor of Nursing, Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Ohio) who co-lead the leadership module with Dr Alice Coffey.
