The 3rd International Public Health Nursing Conference, NUI Galway, 25th -27th August.
The 3rd International Public Health Nursing Conference was held in NUI Galway from 25th -27th August and hosted over 400 delegates from 24 countries
University College Cork was represented by Dr Patricia Leahy-Warren, Helen Mulcahy and Mary Rose Day and Dr Anne Clancy who was a recent Erasmus scholar from Norway (picture below). UCC staff were members of the Scientific Committee; facilitated concurrent sessions; roundtable discussions; presented oral and poster presentations. In addition, the Irish Independent picked up on the conference and published the following article on Dr Patricia Leahy-Warren’s research on support for first-time mothers and postnatal depression.
