School of Nursing and Midwifery welcomed over 200 undergraduate nurses and midwives

The School of Nursing and Midwifery welcomed over 200 undergraduate nurses and midwives through the doors of Brookfield Health Complex on Sept 12th where five Degree programmes commenced: BSc General Nursing, BSc Midwifery, BSc Integrated Nursing (Children’s & General), BSc Intellectual Disability Nursing, BSc Mental Health Nursing.
The students were enthusiastic and eager to begin studying. Over the course of this semester, they will study infection control, Information Technology, academic writing skills, clinical skills. They will also engage in clinical practice in various hospitals and healthcare settings throughout Cork. We wish them every success.
