New arrival to School of Nursing and Midwifery Laerdal SimMan® 3G
An advanced patient simulator with attitude.
No manniquins were injured during this photo shoot.
We would like to extend a warm welcome to Charlie MacSim who recently joined Blake, Denni, Junior and baby MacSim. This investment, supported by Professor Eileen Savage, will enhance our simulation based education for undergraduate and postgraduate nursing students.
After twelve years of dedicated service to simulation, Chris MacSim has seen and been through a lot, he isn’t ready to leave us just yet, and has transferred to the assisted living area down the corridor, where his ongoing cardiovascular and respiratory issues will be monitored and he will be supported to in his quest to reach optimum independence with his activities of daily living.
Check back soon for more news about Charlie and the MacSim family.
