National Foundation Module in Critical Care Nursing ORIENTATION DAY in the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Brookfield Health Science Complex, UCC
Orientation Day
The National Foundation Education Module in Critical Care Nursing (NFEM) is a 10 credit CPD module and is offered through University College Dublin and University College Cork in association with the Health Service Executive (HSE) and Office of the Nursing and Midwifery Services Director (ONMSD). The primary target audience for this module are registered nurses who have limited or no experience working in critical care (model 3, 4 & 4s inclusive). However, it is sufficiently adaptable to support the learning needs of all nurses working within the critical care environment.
The primary objective of the NFEM is to support all nurses who wish to embark on a career pathway in critical care nursing and has been developed to support staff in achieving competency in critical care nursing
