The staff of the Clinical Skills Simulation Resource Centre last week welcomed visitors from Malaysia, who were in Ireland to attend SESAM Belfast 2015, (Society in Europe for Simulation Applied to Medicine- international conference). The group were particularly interested in our experience with and use of the B-line medical SimCapture recording system. They had been advised that a visit to our simulation suite would afford them the opportunity to see a well-designed system fully integrated with the simulators and associated custom built AV system. They were especially impressed with our use of the annotation functions to enhance the post simulation debrief process and the independent review opportunities our students have to enhance their experience and learning from simulation.
