Hearing Voices, Trauma and Dissociation, and Paranoia Workshops
The Irish Institute of Mental Health Nursing, in association with the School of Nursing and Midwifery, is pleased to announce a series of workshops to be held in Brookfield again this year.
These workshops are funded by the Office of Nursing and Midwifery Services Development. For further details and application forms, open the relevant PDF below.
Applications for the workshops are now open. To book a place on one or more of the workshops please complete the relevant application form. The workshops are open for mental health practitioners, people with self-experience and family members. Places are prioritised for mental health nurses’ applications. Working with Young People who Hear Voices:
Facilitator: Rachel Waddingham
• 9 June 2016: Understanding Children & Young People Who Hear Voices: Helping Young People Who Hear Voices Reclaim Their Lives
• 10 June 2016: Working Creatively With Children & Young People Who Hear Voices (for those who attended 9 June workshop, or who have attended previous hearing voices training)
Abuse, Trauma and Dissociation:

• 28 & 29 June 2016: 2-day workshop: Abuse, Trauma and Dissociation: Understanding and Working Towards Recovery
Voice Dialoguing:

• 6 & 7 October 2016: 2-day workshop: Talking with Voices - Learning from the Dialogue (open for those who have attended previous hearing voices training)
Working with Paranoia:

• 19 & 20 October 2016: 2-day workshop: Working through Paranoia & Making Sense Of Unusual Beliefs

• 11 November 2016: 1-day workshop: Advanced Hearing Voices Group Facilitation Training (for those who facilitate Hearing Voices Support Groups)
• 12, 13 & 14 December 2016: 3-day workshop: 3-Day Hearing Voices Group Facilitation & Network Development Training (for those interested to set up and facilitate A Hearing Voices Support Group)
