DR Patricia Leahy-Warren visit to Mzuzu University Malawi

Building and developing a network of partnerships for development and health improvement.
The visit was supported by ESTHER Ireland which aims to strengthen health systems and particularly human resources to address health needs in developing countries. The UCC-MZUNI CREATE is an inter-disciplinary team first created in 2013 (Committee for Research Education and Teaching Evaluation). At this time, the need for staff capacity building within MZUNI Department of Nursing and Midwifery became evident by both MZUNI and UCC. Dr Leahy-Warren, SoN&M along with Dr Rosarii Griffin, OVPT&L recently visited Mzuzu University focused on supporting staff capacity development and strengthening partnerships between Universities.
