Childrens & General Nursing (Integrated) Student receives UCC Quercus Entrance Scholarship Award

On Thursday December 4th 2014 at a prestigious award ceremony held in Áras na Mac Léinn UCC, Meg O’Sullivan a 1st year Children’s and General Nursing (Integrated) Student received a UCC Quercus Entrance Scholarship Award from President of UCC Dr. Michael Murphy.  Approximately 70 students were selected on the basis of their performance in the Leaving Certificate or EU equivalent.  Meg was a student of Coláiste an Chroí Naofa, Carraig na bhFear, Co.Cork under the guidance of School Principal Éamonn Ó Donnabháin (pictured). The Quercus Talented Students’ Programme identifies motivated students who have demonstrated high intellectual achievement, yet want to challenge themselves further by undertaking a university degree programme.
