Dr Vera Mc Carthy
Occupational Health Psychology in Times of Change: Society and the Workplace
Dr Vera Mc Carthy recently presented a paper on ‘The Role of Personality Traits in the Association between Job Characteristics and Depression’ at the 12th European Academy of Occupational Health Psychology Conference in Athens. This conference was attended by almost 500 delegates from all over the world. The theme of the conference was ‘Occupational Health Psychology in Times of Change: Society and the Workplace’. Occupational health researchers and practitioners presented on what we can do to prevent psychological risks to workers and develop work environments where people can succeed in difficult work times.
