To give the participant experience of using coaching in the work place, voluntary sector or community through reflective practice improving their skills and approaches.

Learning Outcome: |
On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:- Coach from a life/business perspective
- Develop a coaching philosophy
- Create a Coaching developmental programme
- Explore, apply and critically reflect upon coaching skills and qualities, demonstrating the ability to select and integrate coaching tools and techniques in coaching interventions.
- Evaluate and critique their own coaching interventions and skills development through personal reflection.
- Demonstrate ability to coach people from A-B.

Assessment: |
Total Marks 300: Continuous Assessment 300 marks (1 x 3,000 word reflective portfolio, 200 marks; Class Presentation, 100 marks).

Compulsory Elements: |
Continuous Assessment. 40 hours coaching log.
|
Penalties (for late submission of course/project work etc.): |
Where work is submitted up to and including 7 days late, 5% of the total marks available shall be deducted from the mark achieved. Where work is submitted up to and including 14 days late, 10% of the total marks available shall be deducted from the mark achieved. Work submitted 15 days late or more shall be assigned a mark of zero.
