After having worked as a Network Operations Engineer for Nayatel (Internet Service Provider) in Pakistan for almost 8 months, I went on to South Korea where I received my Master’s degree in Computer Science from POSTECH in 2015.

Currently I am a PhD student at UCC, engaged in iVID project under the supervision of Prof. Cormac Sreenan. iVID is a 4-year research project funded by Science Foundation Ireland and under this project I am conducting my research about the use of software defined networking (SDN) techniques to optimize the delivery of streaming video.

Research Interests

My current research interests include Software defined networking, Multimedia networking and Network Simulation.
