Postgraduate Research Travel/Registration Grant

The School of Medicine Postgraduate (PG) Travel and registration award 2022.2023 is now open for applications. 

The School of Medicine Research Committee provides limited funding for research travel on a competitive basis to undergraduate students within the School of Medicine. Conferences must have occurred between 1st October 2022 and 1st September 2023. Conference that occur outside these dates are not eligible for funding.

Please conference attendance that occurred between 1st October 2022 to 28th February 2023 must be submitted to RPAC by Tuesday 28th February

For conferences from 1st March 2023 until 1st September 2023 the application must be submitted to RPAC 7 working days prior to the conference commencement.

 

Students who wish to apply for this funding are advised to:

  1. Fill in the attached form and ensure it is signed by your supervisor
  2. Attach a copy of your abstract with apparent Department and School of Medicine, UCC visibility on the abstract.
  3. Attach email from Conference organiser to confirm your poster/oral presentation at the Conference

All applications need to be submitted to rpac@ucc.ie. Please include in the subject line the applicant’s name and the title of the conference
