STATUTE V.
Irish Universities Act, 1908
University College, Cork
We, the Governing Body of University College, Cork, under
and by virtue of the powers in that behalf conferred on us by thesaid Act, Do by this present instrument under the Seal of University College, Cork, make the Statute contained in the Schedule hereof for the general government of the said College.
Given under the Common Seal of University College, Cork, this 7th day of May, One Thousand Nine Hundred and Fifteen.
Present when the Common Seal of University College, Cork,
was affixed.

Statute V.
SCHEDULE
PROFESSORSHIPS AND LECTURESHIPS
- Section 1 of Chapter XIII. of Statute I., University College,
Cork, is hereby revoked as regards the following clauses:-
" of Greek " and " of Latin," and in lieu thereof shall read
" of Ancient Classics."
- The following shall be added to Statute IV., Section 2:-
"in Ancient Classics."
- Section 1 of Chapter XVI. of Statute I., University College,
Cork, is hereby revoked so far as regards the following clauses:-
* The Professorship of Greek, £450;
* The Professorship of Latin £300;
and in lieu thereof shall read : -
* The Professorship of Ancient Classics, £300;
* The Lectureship in Ancient Classics, £300;
- The following are here by added to the list of stipends:-
The Lectureship in Dental Surgery, £25;
The Lectureship in Dental Mechanics, £25;
The Lectureship in Veterinary Hygiene, £10.
- This Statute shall be construed with and as part of the said
Statute I. of University College, Cork, and may be cited as
Statute V. of University College, Cork, or Stat. V., Univ. Coll,,
Cork.
- This Statute shall come into operation on the 8th day of May,
One Thousand Nine Hundred and Fifteen.
Present when the Common Seal of University College, Cork,
was affixed.
