Statute XLV.
Irish Universities Act, 1908
University College, Cork
We, the Governing Body of University College, Cork, under
and by virtue of the powers in that behalf conferred on us by
the said Act, Do by this present instrument under the Seal
of University College, Cork, make the Statute contained in
the Schedule hereof for the general government of the said
College.
Given under the Common Seal of University College, Cork, this twenty-fifth day of March, 1947.

was affixed:

Statute XLV
Schedule
- Research Professorship in Modern Irish History.
- (a) There shall be established in the College in the event
of its institution by the Senate of the National University of Ireland a Research Professorship in Modern
Irish History.
- (b) The said Professorship shall be a part-time and non-pensionable office. The stipend of such Professorship
shall be £150 per annum, and such other sums for
special work as the Governing Body may decide.
- (c) The provisions of Statute XXXIV. Chapter I. Sections
6 to 12 shall not apply to this Professorship
Statute XXVII., Chapter II., as amended by Statute
XXXVII., Chapter III., and by Statute XLIII., Chapter
7 is hereby further amended as follows:
By the addition of the subject Modern Irish History to the
Faculty of Arts, and to the Faculty or Celtic Studies.
- This Statute shall be construed with and as part of
Statutes I to XLIV. of University College, Cork, and may
be cited as Statute XLV. of University College, Cork, or
Stat. XLV. of Univ. Coll., Cork.
- This Statute shall come into operation on the twenty-fifth day of March, 1947.
