Statute XXXII.

Irish Universities Act, 1908

University College, Cork

We, the Governing Body of University College, Cork, under and by virtue of the powers in that behalf conferred on us by the said Act, Do by this present instrument under the Seal of University College, Cork, make the Statute contained in the Schedule hereof for the general government of the said College.

Given under the Common Seal of University College, Cork, this Seventeenth day of February, One Thousand Nine Hundred and Thirty-seven.

Statute XXXII.

Schedule

  1. Statutes I. to XXXI. of University College, Cork, shall be read and construed with the additions and modifications as hereunder set forth.

CHAPTER I.

Notwithstanding anything contained in any previous Statute, the salary payable to the present Professor of mathematics shall be £680 per annum as from the 1st October, 1936, increasing by £40 per annum to £800 per annum.

CHAPTER II.

The salary of the Professorship of Music shall be £250 per annum as from 1st October, 1936.

CHAPTER III.

The salary of the Lectureship in Spanish shall be £400 per annum as from the 1st October, 1935. The arrears of salary for the first year 1st October, 1935, to 30th September 1936 (£200) shall be paid to the late holder of the Lectureship in Spanish ­ Mr. W. C. Cooke, M.A.

CHAPTER IV.

This Statute shall be construed with and as part of Statutes I. to XXXI. of University College, Cork, and may be cited as Statute XXXII of University College, Cork, or Stat. XXXII. of Univ. Coll., Cork.
