Risk, Rescue and Protection of Personal Assets in Insolvency Law

A seminar on corporate insolvency law took place on Thursday the 5th July in the Glucksman Gallery, UCC.

The many developments in corporate insolvency law which have taken place over the last decade were considered and discussed in the recent text on Corporate Insolvency and Rescue (Second Edition, Bloomsbury Professional, 2012) by Profesor Irene Lynch Fannon and Gerard Nicholas Murphy B.L.

Following on from this publication, the authors of the text propose to consider some of the developments in selected aspects of the legal framework which are of topical interest.  In addition, the interface between corporate and personal insolvency law is more important than ever as significant corporate indebtedness has been underpinned by personal guarantee.  The authors are delighted to be joined by Gillian Keating, Partner in J.W. O'Donovan, Solicitors, who will discuss this subject.
