Upcoming Event: Kick-Off Event- Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence 'EU Integration and Citizens' Rights

The Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence 'EU Integration and Citizens' Rights will host it's Kick-Off Event on Wednesday 28th September both in-person in Áras na Laoi, School of Law and online via MS Teams. 

Join us on Wednesday 28th September for the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence EU Integration and Citizens' Rights Kick-Off event. This Hybrid event will take places in ALG33 Áras na Laoi, UCC School of Law and on MS Teams. 

This kick-off event provides an opportunity to present the project plans to the wider public.

The Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence EU Integration and Citizens’ Rights (EUICR) explores how citizens’ effective activation of rights within the EU, its neighbourhood and through its global partnerships can ensure the EU’s future legitimacy. It achieves results through a unique interdisciplinary cooperation between legal, political, and economic EU studies, with one event on sociological approaches to EU constitutionalism on 28 September (6:30 pm). It explores the continuing effectiveness of free movement and anti-discrimination rights within the EU in the post-COVID
