A Pivot Table is an interactive table that contains summarised data. Once a pivot table has been created, you can manipulate it to analyse your data in different ways. There are times when you may want to quickly summarise your worksheet information in different ways for different purposes; you can do this with an Excel PivotTable. 

Course Contents:

This course will include:

  • How to layout your data to optimise the use of Pivot Tables
  • Creating Pivot Tables – learning the basics
  • Changing layout and field settings
  • Grouping Data
  • Calculations
  • Creating Pivot Charts
  • Using the Slicer feature

Duration: 2 hours 


Prior attendance at Excel 2016 Level 1 and or Level 2 is not essential but would prove beneficial.  A good working knowledge of Excel will be assumed.
