IT Training for Registered UCC Students
Learning Pathways is a Microsoft resource which has been tailored for use by UCC staff and students. Follow the link above and select the 'Student' option to begin.
Learning Pathways contains several scenario-based courses designed to help you get the most out of Office software in the context of your day to day student learning and assignments.
- Create a PowerPoint presentation and deliver it via Teams
- Format and structure a Word document for your essay, report or thesis
- Create a survey using Forms and analyze the data using Excel
- Learn about Windows IT Security, Office365 online collaboration and studying remotely
All students may study ICDL online. ICDL online training is available free through your Canvas account.
To access this module log into your account and search for ICDL in the course catalogue and click on enrol. For more instructions on how to do this, please see here. Any questions you have can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org

The Training Centre runs training courses in a dedicated room located on the 4th floor of the Kane Building (Science Building). Registered postgraduate students and researchers can attend our classroom courses.
