Release from Quarantine Outlook
Open your Outlook Client
Navigate to the email from quarantine@messaging.microsoft.comThere may be a single email message reported or multiple ones. There are 2 options for each email message:
- Release to Inbox
- Report as Junk
You can ignore all SPAM emails which will be deleted in 15 days by default.
To release an email to your Inbox, click “Release to Inbox” next to the message that you wish to release. You will be redirected to Microsoft servers in a web browser.
To release an email to your Inbox, click “Report as not Junk” next to the message that you wish to release. This will release the message to your inbox as well as reporting it to Microsoft as incorrectly tagged. You will be redirected to Microsoft servers in a web browser.
If you have already released the mail messaged from Quarantine, you will be notified as follows.
You will not be asked to logon at any point. If you are, you may have received a Phishing email.
