EOL-Shared Mailbox in OWA

Permanently add Shared Mailbox to OWA

Step 1 - Make sure that you have permission for the Shared Mailbox before moving to step 2

      • In this guide tutorial, faisal.buzaid @ucc.ie is used as an example of a primary mailbox
      • In this guide tutorial, eag.support @ucc.ie is used as an example of a shared mailbox

Step 2 – Open a web browser and navigate to http://o365.ucc.ie

Step 3 – Logon using your UCC email credentials

      • Follow the instruction to login e.g. type your username and password

Step 4 - Click on Mail icon

Select Mail

Step 5 – Click More

      • Make sure that Folders drop-down list is expanded

Step 6 – Right Click on your primary email

      • Select Add shared folder

Step 7 – Type the Shared Mailbox address

      • The Shared Mailbox should be popped up from Directory
      • Select the Shared Mailbox
      • Click Add

Step 8 – Now, the Shared Mailbox should be added to the list on the side permanently
