We are making changes to how we are implementing our Wi-Fi service today, which will not affect most users of the service.

The following will happen:

Apple MacBook, MacBook Pro, iPhone or iPad users.

You will be prompted to accept a new "Certificate". Simply choose accept and all will continue to work.

Windows 7/8/8.1 users

All should continue to work but a few Windows 7 users may have configured the certificate validation. Simply follow the link below and follow the instructions on how to configure your laptop.

Linux users.

The linux bash file here http://www.ucc.ie/en/it/itservicecatalogue/wi-fiinternetaccess/  under Automatic Configuration for Windows 7 or Linux has been updated.

Android & Kindle users

All should continue to work.

If you are having problems connecting to the Wi-Fi service, please reboot your device. If you are still having problems, simply remove and re-add the wireless settings by visiting here http://www.ucc.ie/en/it/itservicecatalogue/wi-fiinternetaccess/ and follow the instructions or visit our Student Helpdesk in the Boole Library and they will be able to help.
