UCC Global Leader in Sustainability

UCC today ranked seventh most sustainable university in the world.

An international ranking, the UI Green Metric,  which examines sustainability practices in universities across the world, has ranked University College Cork (UCC) today at seventh the only Irish university to make the top 10 of the ‘greenest universities’ in the world.

The UI Green Metric Ranking assesses universities on their environmental footprint across campus infrastructure, energy and climate change, water, waste, transport and education and research.
