University College Cork has a student exchange programme with Ajou University in the Republic of Korea. Students at undergraduate or postgraduate level can spend a a semester or academic year at the university.

Ajou University, established in 1973 under the motto of "Asia's best university for the 21st century," is a leading research university with 9 colleges in Korea. Located in Suwon, about 30km south of Seoul, Ajou has 14,000 students (9,000 undergraduate, 3,500 graduate, and 1,500 in other courses).
The strength in Ajou's academic programmes and research lies in Engineering, IT, BT, NT, Medical Science, Business and International Studies. Ajou is widely recognized for its innovative international programmes and strong support for international students and has collaborative partnership with about 146 universities in 42 countries. There are a wide range of international programmes at Ajou including student and faculty exchanges, international summer school, Korean language programme, etc. International students take courses offered in English in various majors. Today Ajou welcomes about 600 international students a year.
Applications are invited from UCC students at undergraduate or postgraduate level to spend the 2016/2017 academic year at Ajou University The successful student, who will be of honours standard, will receive remission of tuition fees.
Yonsei University was first established in 1885 and is the oldest private university in Korea. Yonsei’s main campus is located in a spacious, picturesque and natural setting located minutes away from the economic, political, and cultural centres of Seoul's metropolitan downtown. Yonsei has 3,500 faculty members who are conducting cutting-edge research across all academic disciplines. There are 18 graduate schools, 22 colleges and 133 subsidiary institutions hosting a selective pool of students from around the world.
Applications are invited from UCC students at undergraduate level to spend the 2016/2017 academic year at the Yonsei University. The successful student, who will be of honours standard, will receive remission of tuition fees.
ICU Information and Communications University: Study Abroad Programs of ICU

SEP (Students Exchange Program)
SEP is an exchange program for students from partner institutions. Students need to register at their own university as well as at ICU. All tuition fees are waived at ICU, but students are responsible for their living and other expenses. For the information regarding the partnership and credits transference, students are advised to contact their study-abroad advisor at their home institution. The application for SEP should be authorized by the study-abroad advisor of the student’s home institution.
STS (Short Term Study)
STS is a fee-paying exchange program for students from non-partner institutions. Students are required to pay tuition fees at ICU regardless of the payment at their home institution. Students can directly apply for the program, but we strongly advise students to consult with their study-abroad advisor in advance to get more detailed information about the program including fees and credits transference. Students are responsible for their own living and other expenses.

School of IT-Business
- Tuition Fees for Undergraduate Program: $2350

DDP (Dual Degree Program)
DDP is for students from the institutions that have a dual degree agreement with ICU. Students need to meet the degree requirements stated in the agreement to be awarded with degrees from both institutions. For more detailed information about the program, students are advised to consult with their study-abroad advisor.
Internship at ICU
ICU offers a non-paid internship program for the students who want to research at ICU. ICU has 14 research centers, but openings for intern positions are limited. All tuition fees are waived for students from partner institutions, but students from non-partner institutions must pay the registration fee for the internship program. (The amount of the registration fee is TBD.) The following is the list of research centers at ICU:

ISP (International Summer Program)
ISP is a special program designed to promote IT businesses in Korea and Korean culture. While the program offers credit-taking courses, it also includes visits to renowned IT companies such as Samsung and LG Electronics and cultural and tourist sites such as the Folk Village and Jeju Island. The program fee is $1,200USD for students from partner institutions and $3,000 for students from other universities. This covers tuition fees, accommodations, meals, and fieldtrips.
