CUBS and UCC Innovation Launch University-Wide Module on Developing an Entrepreneurial Mindshift
Cork University Business School (CUBS) in collaboration with UCC Innovation are launching a new University Wide (UW) entrepreneurship module for all students from ALL disciplines (excluding first year students).
The UW007 – Developing Your Entrepreneurial Mindshift module will allow students to discover their inner entrepreneur and learn how solve global problems, improve society, and make a positive impact or contribute to their (future) workplace.
The module, commencing Wednesday September 27th from 5 – 8pm will run for 8 weeks. This module is in addition to existing credit workload, and students will need to seek permission from their programme director before registering.
Speaking about the launch of the module, Director of UCC Innovation, Dr Sally Cudmore said:
“This module has been designed by entrepreneurship experts in the Cork University Business School and UCC Innovation, to be a hands-on practical course to excite students about opportunities for entrepreneurship in their careers. The course will bring together entrepreneurially curious students from all disciplines to learn new skills, widen their networks and introduce entrepreneurial action and practice.”
On completion of this module, students will have gained experience in:
- Developing an entrepreneurial mindshift
- Creating and shaping ideas into future opportunities for impact (ideas are not a pre-requisite)
- Ddeveloping entrepreneurship skills
- Connecting with like-minded peers across all disciplines
- Listening to inspirational entrepreneurs who will share their experiences
Interested students can register for the module via this form. Registration closes on Monday September 25th at 3pm, or when places are full.
