News, Evolve Therapy and Shopless nominated for the 2018 Cork Digital Marketing Awards

The nominees for the 5th Annual Cork Digital Marketing Awards are in, and this year three IGNITE startups have been nominated. These include (Founder, Stephanie Lynch), Evolve Therapy (Founder, Emily Ahern) and Shopless (Founder and CEO, Niamh Parker).

IGNITE Alumna attended the Cork Digital Marketing Awards at the Fota Island Resort and Spa back in 2016 where they picked up two awards on the night. They were awarded the “Best use of Facebook”, and the “Best use of Video” for a company of less than 30 employees. They were also nominated for “Best Use of Video” for a company of less than 30 employees in 2017. This year, have been nominated for “Best Website” for a Small Business, “Best Use of Facebook” for a Small Business & “Best Use of Instagram” for a business of less than 30 employees. 

Our current IGNITE startup, Evolve Therapy, has been nominated for “Best Use of Facebook” in a New Business (less than 3 years) & “Best Use of Digital Marketing for the Greater Good”. Evolve Therapy has also been nominated for Junior Chamber International Ireland’s 2018 Friendly Business Awards. Inspired by the resilience and dedication of small and medium businesses across the country, the FBAs seek to recognise and reward SMEs in Ireland. Launched more than ten years ago, the awards show how smaller businesses have made incredible contributions to both community and employment. 

And one of our new startups, Shopless, has been nominated for “Best Use of Video” for a business of less than 30 employees & “Best Use of Facebook” in a New Business (less than 3 years). Shopless is an exciting new local community Shopping App saving you time and money allowing you to shop from all your favourite stores online and get it delivered. 

The Cork Digital Marketing Awards are organised by Cork Chamber Skillnet to recognise the remarkable achievements of companies using digital to enhance consumer experience in Cork. They are sponsored by Granite Digital and supported by their media partner Cork’s Red FM and The Irish Examiner.  

The Awards will be held on September 28th in Rochestown Park Hotel where the 2018 winners will be announced.
