IGNITE Awards & Showcase 2017
The annual IGNITE Awards & Showcase event will take place on Thursday 28 September 2017 to celebrate the achievements of our graduate entrepreneurs.
The annual IGNITE Awards & Showcase event will take place on Thursday 28 September 2017 to celebrate the achievements of our graduate entrepreneurs.
This event will celebrate the achievements of the IGNITE 2017 start-up businesses as they come to the end of the programme and will also launch the new cohort of ten start-up businesses starting on the IGNITE 2018 programme.
This year’s Awards and Showcase sponsored by Bank Of Ireland, will feature 6 new businesses, a number of which are well on the road to success having already generated sales revenue or raised finance.
Start-ups including Altitude Analytics, Apis Protect, Ballzey, Culture-Pro, Fixed Point Code and TrustAp will present their startup journey and progress on the night.
Awards will be presented for overall Business of the Year, Business Plan, Innovation, Showcase Display and Individual Contribution.
Past winners of IGNITE Business of the Year Awards include Dr Sinead Doherty of AnaBio Technologies Ltd., Apla Agrawl of Almin Resources Ireland ltd., James Nagle and Peter Nagle of Bitcove, Ross O’Dwyer and Richard Barrett of PunditArena, Eoin O’Carroll and Kevin Bambury of Portable Medical Technology Ltd and Mike McGrath of Supply.ie.
The IGNITE Programme is funded by Cork City Council, Cork County Council, the Local Enterprise Offices of Cork City and County, University College Cork and Bank of Ireland.
