IGNITE 2016 participants compete for top prizes

Five Awards will be presented at the annual Awards & Showcase event on Wednesday, 27th June 2016 at 6.00pm to celebrate the achievements of our graduate entrepreneurs.

The completion of the sixth phase of the IGNITE Graduate Business Innovation Programme will celebrate the progress and achievements of this year's eleven Start-up businesses at the Awards and Showcase evening.

Five Awards will be presented at the annual Awards & Showcase event on Wednesday, 27th June 2016 at 6.00pm to celebrate the achievements of our graduate entrepreneurs.

This year’s Awards and Showcase will feature 6 new businesses, a number of which are well on the road to success having already generated sales revenue or raised finance.

Awards will be presented for overall Business of the Year, Business Plan, Innovation, Showcase Display and Individual Contribution.

Past winners of IGNITE Business of the Year Awards include Dr Sinead Doherty of AnaBio Technologies Ltd., who subsequently went on to win the Cork Chamber of Commerce Emerging Company of the Year 2014, James Nagle and Peter Nagle of Bitcove, Ross O’Dwyer and Richard Barrett of PunditArena, Eoin O’Carroll and Kevin Bambury of Portable Medical Technology Ltd and Mike McGrath ofsupply.ie.

This year’s Award sponsors are Bank of Ireland, EY and JW O’Donovan Solicitors.

The IGNITE Graduate Business Innovation Programme is funded by Cork City Council, Cork County Council, the Local Enterprise Offices of Cork City and County and Bank of Ireland.
