IGNITE18 Programme

We are now OPEN for applications for the 18th IGNITE Programme.

The twelve month business innovation programme at University College Cork, that nurtures, develops and strengthens entrepreneurial potential, is inviting applications from recent graduates from any discipline, from any third level institution in Ireland with a viable business idea with potential for commercial, environmental or social impact. The next 12month programme will commence in early July 2022.

Successful applicants will benefit from a comprehensive start-up support package including:

  • Workshops, seminars and guest speakers
  • Mentors, advisors and industry partners
  • Workshops, Seminars, Training - Comprehensive training schedule
  • Shared workspace in UCC’s Western Gateway Building 
  • Seed funding
  • Access to UCC’s academic, research and commercialisation expertise
  • We do not take an equity stake in any company

Since its inception in 2011, the Programme has supported 120+ founders that have applied a range of technologies in sectors such as food, pharma, health, finance, retail and media. Some of them are:
