Conversational Irish Course for Students Interested in Primary Teaching
Course Summary
This interactive course will focus on the following:
- Helping students to communicate fluently and clearly through the medium of Irish.
- Information will be made available relating to Irish language activities and events.
- Provide information regarding the Oral Irish examinations that are held for those applying for a place in Primary Teaching Training Colleges.

Course Details - Autumn 2023
Course Dates: week commencing 2 October 2023 – week commencing 20 November 2023* (One hour every week for eight weeks). Please let us know when you are unavailable to attend your class on the application form. This class will be arranged at a time that is suitable to the majority of students.
Location: These classes will be held on campus.
Deadline for Applications: Monday, 25 September 2023, 10am.
Class Details: Details about the class will be sent to your Umail account on Tuesday, 26 September 2023. If the time is suitable for you, please use the link that will be sent to you via email to pay for this course.
* an extra class will be arranged for students who will miss a class due to the October Bank Holiday.
